From battling through post-apocalyptic wastelands to trading paint on custom Hotring circuits, the creations that power GTA Online’s Community Series never cease to amaze.
Thanks to the work of our talented creator community and your feedback, we’re excited to expand the Community Series with more focused playlists and a new unique reward for Creators.
Starting this Thursday, GTA Online players can experience the new Community Race Series, focusing on the very best community-made tracks — keeping racing groups together to jump straight into the next one.
In future weeks, the Community Race Series will make way for the new Community Combat Series highlighting creative Deathmatches, King of The Hills, Survivals, and more.
New jobs will feature frequently as the Series rotates, so you can dive straight into the latest community-powered maps or fire up your tried-and-true favorites on the fly.
The original mixed-genre Community Series will also return during seasonal events, featuring new and classic modes from the most talented GTA Online Creators out there.
Each Job featured in the Community Series is the result of creativity, ingenuity, and technical skill. In recognition of those talents, each Creator featured in any Community Series (including any previously featured Creators) will be gifted the new and extremely rare R* Community Series Varsity Jacket.
Beginning today, featured Creators can find the jacket in their wardrobe by selecting Tops > Bomber Jackets > R* Community Series Varsity.
Here are some tips and tricks for creating and sharing Jobs if you’re looking to get featured in the Community Series:
Make it fun! A simple concept executed well can make for a really engaging experience.
While you can take inspiration from your favorite Jobs, originality is a key factor in choosing Jobs for the Community Series. Avoid directly copying another Creator’s work or direct references to other entertainment properties.
Consider locking Races to a single vehicle to level the playing field.
Only use the Rockstar Creator as intended. Jobs that attempt to take advantage of exploits are a no-go.
Keep things moving and avoid long, drawn-out rounds in your Job. For example, when creating a Sumo-style Job, adjusting the Out of Area Timer to Instant can make rounds move quicker.
Make sure to tag your Job with #communityseries to maximize visibility in the GTA Online Jobs showcase as well as on social media.

We’re continuously looking to improve and add to the Rockstar Creator, and over the past several updates we’ve added the following:
Options for Forced Aim Modes in all Creators, including Partial Aim Assist and Free Aim.
Prep time options between waves in various modes.
Options to set enemy squads as Zombies in the Survival Creator.
New ambient settings such as Snow and Halloween weather patterns.

Join the official Rockstar Games Discord to connect with a network of expert Job Creators on the #creator-tools channel to exchange notes and trade insights. Once you’ve got something you’re proud of, you can use the job-sharing board to show your creation to the community.
If you’d like to send feedback on the Creator tools, we’re always eager to hear your suggestions on the GTA Online Feedback Portal.
The best way to learn is by creating, so go jump in and use the Creator. Good luck, we can’t wait to see what you cook up.
